Industry strategist Donna Valdes has officially aligned with MWR Life as the global travel membership company gains attention during its expanding United States growth phase.
After years of working behind the scenes helping network marketing leaders and companies modernize branding, training, and customer acquisition strategies, industry strategist Donna Valdes believed her days of actively building in the field were largely behind her.
For the past several years, Valdes has focused on consulting and strategy, helping leaders adapt to the evolving landscape of modern network marketing, where personal branding, digital systems, and customer acquisition now play a critical role in long-term growth.
But recently, something caught her attention.
As conversations began circulating about the momentum building around MWR Life, a global travel membership company approaching a decade in operation, Valdes decided to take a closer look.
MWR Life has generated more than $100 million in global sales while building strong momentum in several international markets. Now, as the company expands throughout the United States, experienced leaders within the profession are watching the company’s growth with curiosity.

Before forming any opinion, she approached the opportunity the same way she encourages others to evaluate any business platform: test the product personally and study the leadership behind it.
After booking a hotel stay through the company’s travel system, Valdes says she experienced savings of more than 50% compared to public travel sites.

“That was the moment I really started paying attention,”
Valdes shared.
“Belief in the product matters. When you experience something personally, it changes how seriously you evaluate everything else.”
As she explored further, Valdes realized the platform extends well beyond hotel bookings. Members can access travel discounts across hotels, cruises, airlines, curated vacation packages, and other travel experiences, allowing customers to plan everything from quick getaways to larger international trips through a single membership.
She was also intrigued by the company’s Vacation Layaway concept, which allows members to accumulate travel points monthly that can later be applied toward future travel.
“In today’s world people already value travel and experiences,”
Valdes said.
“The idea of building toward future trips while receiving value along the way simply makes sense.”
The Travel Platform
Another distinction that stood out during her evaluation was the platform itself.
Unlike many travel programs that rely on white-labeled booking engines, the MWR Life platform is fully owned and operated by the company, with its own internal technology team managing development, travel partnerships, and platform data.
“In this industry you often see companies using the same white-label travel engines,”
Valdes explained.
“What caught my attention here is that the company actually controls its own platform and its own partnerships behind the travel deals.”
Leadership
Leadership was another factor in her decision.
During her due diligence process, Valdes spent time studying the company’s ownership and leadership team, including founder Yoni Ashurov. According to Valdes, the culture surrounding the company’s leadership played a major role in her decision.
“The owner genuinely cares about the leadership community and the people building here,”
she said.
“That’s something you can feel when you spend time around the company and talk to the field.”
After evaluating the product, leadership, and overall market timing, Valdes ultimately made the decision to officially align with MWR Life as the company continues its expansion across the United States.
Interestingly, returning to active field leadership was not something she originally planned.
“For a long time I felt like I had already done my run in the field,”
she said.
“But every once in a while something shows up that makes you pause and say… maybe it’s worth another look.”
Innovation Promotion
Recently, the company also introduced an innovative promotion that has generated strong attention across the field. In addition to Turbo members receiving double travel points for as long as they remain active, the promotion provides a special 90-day access period, with the first two months of membership waived, while still allowing members to accumulate travel points during that time.
This initiative is designed as a 90-day launch program, helping new members start with momentum and providing a stronger foundation for activity, engagement, and long-term growth.
Valdes says moments like this often spark curiosity among experienced leaders.
“When a company introduces something it hasn’t offered before, people start paying attention,”
she said.
Valdes shared that she has already begun conversations with a number of experienced network marketing leaders who are quietly watching the company’s expansion and asking deeper questions about the platform.
“I’ve always believed this profession still has incredible potential when the right product, leadership, and timing come together,”
she said.
“Sometimes all it takes is seeing something that makes you believe again.”
She noted that several experienced leaders who had previously stepped away from actively building are also beginning to revisit the profession as they watch the company’s U.S. momentum develop.
“And right now, a lot of people are starting to look a little closer.”
