ByDzyne and the Entrepreneur You Never Knew You Could Be
The word “entrepreneur” can feel bigger than it needs to.
It brings to mind founders, investors, business plans, big ideas and people who seem to have known from an early age that they wanted to build something of their own.
But what if the next entrepreneur doesn’t look like that at all?
Maybe she’s a mother looking for something she can build around her family. Maybe he’s a teacher who loves his career but knows one paycheck doesn’t create much breathing room. Maybe it’s someone with a full-time job, a small business, a passion for wellness, a love for travel, or simply a quiet feeling that there has to be more.
They may not call themselves entrepreneurs.
At ByDzyne, that may be exactly the point.
The global company has now reached more than 100 countries and says it has empowered more than 50,000 entrepreneurs around the world. Yet behind those numbers are people who started for very different reasons, from very different places, and often with very different ideas of what entrepreneurship even meant.
Some were looking for additional income. Some wanted more flexibility. Others were drawn to a product they genuinely enjoyed and found themselves sharing it with friends. Some wanted community. Others wanted to build something significant.
There is no single profile.
And increasingly, that may reflect what modern entrepreneurship actually looks like.
“We’ve never believed that someone has to come to ByDzyne already knowing how to be an entrepreneur,”
said Nat Puranaputra, Chairman and Co-Founder of ByDzyne.
“Sometimes people simply need someone to see something in them before they see it in themselves. Skills can be developed. Confidence can grow. Leadership can be learned. But first, someone has to believe there is more possible for their life.”
That idea has shaped much of the ecosystem ByDzyne has built.
Rather than centering the company around a single type of consumer, ByDzyne has developed products and services across categories including wellness, technology, travel and automotive. Someone’s introduction to the company might begin with a wellness product. For another person, it might be travel. For someone else, it could simply begin through a relationship with a friend.
The doorway can be different because the people walking through it are different.
That matters in an economy where more people are questioning what security, freedom and success actually look like.
For decades, the traditional formula was fairly straightforward: find a good job, work hard, move up and hopefully build a comfortable life along the way.
That path still works for many people.
But it isn’t the only path anymore.
Technology has changed how people work. Social media has changed how people communicate. Entire businesses can now be built from a phone. And perhaps most importantly, people have become increasingly comfortable with the idea that their income, identity and future do not have to come from one place.
That creates an interesting opportunity for relationship-based entrepreneurship.
At its simplest, the ByDzyne model begins with something humans have been doing forever: discovering something they value and telling someone else about it.
The business can grow from there.
Not everyone will build the same size business. Not everyone has the same goals. And as with any entrepreneurial opportunity, results are never guaranteed.
But everyone can begin.
“We have met incredible leaders around the world who didn’t necessarily start out believing they were leaders,”
said Chanida Puranaputra, Chairwoman and Co-Founder of ByDzyne.
“What they had was a willingness to learn, to serve people and to keep growing. That is one of the most beautiful things about this business. You get to watch people become more confident, more capable and sometimes become someone they never imagined they could be.”
Perhaps that is why the word entrepreneur deserves a broader definition.
An entrepreneur doesn’t necessarily wear a suit.
They don’t need an MBA.
They don’t need thousands of followers.
And they certainly don’t need to have everything figured out.
Sometimes an entrepreneur is simply someone willing to take responsibility for creating more options in their life.
Someone willing to learn.
Someone willing to start.
Across more than 100 countries, thousands of people have found their own version of that journey with ByDzyne.
And somewhere right now, the company’s next great entrepreneur may still be going to work, raising children, studying, serving customers, coaching a team or sitting at home wondering what their next chapter could look like.
They may not see themselves as an entrepreneur yet.
But maybe that’s where the best stories begin.
