Fernando González Joins Bravenly Global Following an In-Depth Evaluation
With 35 years of international industry experience, Fernando González reunites with Garrett and Sylvia McGrath to help develop the Hispanic market.
Fernando González announces his decision to join Bravenly Global after evaluating dozens of companies to select the platform for the next chapter of his professional journey.
His career includes building international organizations, developing leaders, and creating training tools and systems for thousands of independent distributors.
This new chapter also marks a professional reunion with his longtime friends and mentors, Garrett and Sylvia McGrath. However, González explains that while friendship opened the conversation, the decision required time, research, and independent evaluation.
Evaluating the Complete Picture
“I continued honoring my previous commitment until I recognized that my family and I needed a new direction. A decision of this importance deserved much more than enthusiasm,”
González explains.
The evaluation covered:
– Products: formulations, quality, ease of use, results, and integration into everyday routines.
– Business model: compensation structure, qualification requirements, and customer development.
– Operations: logistics, support, technology, tools, events, and training systems.
– Stability and expansion: business track records, resources, and preparation for new markets.
– Leadership and values: the owners’ conduct, communication, and consistency between commitments and actions.
“We were not looking for a perfect company. We were looking for the strongest and most cohesive combination among the alternatives we studied. Bravenly was the result.”
Bravenly Founder and CEO Aspen Emry shared:
“We are thrilled to welcome Fernando and Mayra to Bravenly! It is a blessing to be expanding this Bravenly community and mission with such purpose-driven leaders.”
Why Haven’t More People Heard of Bravenly Before?
According to González, this is one of the questions he hears most frequently from his Spanish-speaking contacts.
“Bravenly has built a significant presence in the English-speaking market. The fact that it is still unfamiliar to many Spanish speakers does not mean the company is starting from scratch.”
One of the factors he valued most was finding tools, systems, and materials already available in Spanish, along with executive personnel dedicated to serving this community, including Margarita Vargas.
“The company invested in the infrastructure before establishing a broad Hispanic leadership presence. That preparation demonstrates intention and commitment to our market. We found a foundation on which to build.”
Do the Products Work?
González believes the answer begins with the customer experience: products people enjoy, incorporate into their routines, and want to continue using.
“In my initial experience, I have found excellent flavors, very enjoyable textures, and easy preparation. I have also noticed personal wellness benefits that I am continuing to observe as I incorporate the products into my daily life.”
That experience is complemented by the company’s customer focus. According to information shared by Bravenly, approximately 80% are retail or preferred customers.
“That particularly caught my attention. We found an approach that emphasizes product consumption, follow-up, and customer relationships. That foundation is essential for building over the long term.”
Values Reflected in Actions
The conduct of founders Aspen and Brent Emry also played an important role in his decision.
“I pay attention to how they listen, how they respond, and what they do after a conversation. The consistency between what they have told me and what I have seen them do has strengthened my confidence.”
González says he has experienced that same personal care in his relationships with Garrett, Sylvia, and Margarita.
“After so many years in this profession, I deeply value finding business experience accompanied by accessibility, respect, and a willingness to collaborate.”
Garrett McGrath shared.
“Sylvia and I, and our son Liam, are thrilled to be building together again with Fernando and Mayra. After 20 years of friendship, they are like family. We’ve had some amazing adventures building businesses together, both in Spanish-speaking countries throughout Latin America and in the US. Their leadership, wisdom and professional stature has only continued to grow over the years, and we’re excited to keep growing and expanding together with them.
“Bravenly has grown from $1.5 million per year, to over $100 million per year – in just four years’ time, with 80% joining as customers – this speaks volumes.
“And this growth happened when the company was only in the United States. International expansion into Spain, UK, Australia and Canada has also just started, so the opportunity for exciting new growth is right in front of us.”
Building With a Long-Term Vision
As González shared, his focus will be helping develop the Hispanic community through training, ongoing support, and duplicable systems, working alongside field leadership and the corporate team.
“We want to develop customers, train leaders, and build organizations that can sustain themselves and grow. Each market should move forward with the appropriate infrastructure and support,”
For González, joining Bravenly brings together decades of learning and a new opportunity to put that experience to work.
“After evaluating the options with a clear head, I found a platform where I can use my experience to serve more people. Mayra and I begin this chapter with gratitude, responsibility, and a commitment to turning that vision into results.”
