But they should also have:
- Effective communication: They must transmit the needed information suitably. It’s fundamental for leading.
- Vision: A leader needs to have a vision, which means not only thinking in a short term, but trying to see a bigger picture.
- Balance: Give importance to team members’ opinions.
- Art of Feedback: In order to produce good feedback it’s important to keep it impartial and objective. Criticism must bring solutions and improvement.
James & Becky are amazing leaders. I met James a month ago at the Gold Coast Connect Event, he made me feel special and safe, gave me the confidence to trust in myself… I will be forever grateful. He joined in with our team (I’d only just met them myself) & chatted with us all as if he had known us for years. Always available for a photo opportunity, a great student for learning Aussie slang, lots of laughs. I made Senior Team Lead today, & both James & Becky congratulated me (separately) personally… what leader takes the time to do that.
