iX Global Announces it Will Cease Operations After 4 Years in Business

iX Global, launched in 2020 mid-pandemic with the mission to innovate, inspire and impact people globally. iX, led by marine veteran Joe Martinez, started with a focus on personal development and quickly grew into a global community during a challenging time for professionals in the network marketing industry due to the lockdowns.
As the company gained momentum and expanded internationally, the focus turned more into financial education, housing a multi-lingual team of trading educators.
In 2022 iX Global started venturing into the distribution of blockchain technology products which pushed the growth of the community and of the revenue. And raising the flag of innovation and with a motto of freedom and decentralization, iX achieved top rankings in the industry, creating a powerful leadership community and top industry earners.
After 3 years of successful operations, hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue and paid commissions, hundreds of thousands of lives around the world had been impacted, by the community, by the education, by the business, and by the products.
But their momentum was about to take a hit, as fresh out of a successful expansion phase, in June 2023, iX Global was enjoined in a lawsuit against a third-party product. A messy performance by the SEC led to major financial losses, business losses and legal fees for iX Global. And even though the case was later dismissed, the losses suffered by the company were greater than the victory over the misconduct of the SEC.
The turbulence pushed iX Global on a journey of rediscovery, setting the company back on a path towards online education and digital entrepreneurship, and as they developed new brands, iX CEO Joe Martinez went on a path of building a solid corporate foundation, one that focused on autonomy, independence and sustainability, creating value by developing in-house products and cultivating value through intellectual property.
“I think that the biggest lesson we can learn from all the experiences iX Global went through not only here in the U.S. with the SEC but also globally, is that some of the risks of working with third party products come out more costly than the high-cost of in-house product development,”
says iX CEO Joe Martinez.
As Joe Martinez opened the doors for in-house development, new milestones were achieved and new obstacles were faced, iX Global launched their own social platform XLife, and a full online education platform, all developed and hosted in-house. But the high-costs of in-house development paired with the ongoing high-costs of legal defense, posed a heavy burden not only financially but also to the reputation of the brand, presenting really big challenges for iX Global.
“It is very hard for me to let go of something I created with so much effort and dedication, we started from nothing and made it all the way to the top of the charts. We have fought some really big battles and won.
But at the end of the day you need to detach, you need to pivot, you need to adapt. You need to raise the mission above all things. You need to look at the problems with fresh eyes and you need to assess the damages to the ship.
You need to know when the vessel is no longer fit for the journey. The end of one vessel is not the end of the journey. We need to be ready for change. Because there is no growth without change,”
candidly said Joe Martinez about the closure of iX Global.
Monday, June 24 marks the day iX Global made their official announcement giving their brand ambassadors a 30-day notice before the company officially closes its doors and ceases operations.
“We are proud of what we have accomplished. We are proud of ending this chapter by doing the right thing and one more time differentiating ourselves from so many companies in our industry that don’t prioritize their leadership and their brand ambassadors.
Joe always wants to make sure we put the people first, and it won’t be any different as we close our doors. All commissions are being paid, all commitments are being honored. Our brand ambassadors are all being taken care of. As they should be,”
says iX Global COO Misty Martinez.
As stated during the announcement officially made during their global corporate call on Monday, all systems will remain online for the next 30 days, with brand ambassadors able to login into their accounts, request payouts, and continue to operate in accordance to the company agreements and procedures through July 24th.
