Tim Sales: Full Disclosure On Partner.Co

In a recent post on Ted Nuyten’s Facebook about Partner.Co a person asked the question:

“Who owns Partner.co and how seasoned is their entire management/investors team? Are they publicly committed and not controlled by bean counters?

Tim Sales replied and disclosed the information below about Partner.Co, a private company.

“Yes, let’s have full disclosure and honestly. Technically speaking Partner.Co was not “rescued” out of bankruptcy. The publicly traded company NewAge (not an NWM company) purchased Morinda and ARIIX (both are NWM companies). NewAge, primarily the CEO, did a poor job at managing the company, especially the NWM companies.”

He was more of a promoter than a business technician and spent more money than the company had, thus drove the NewAge company into bankruptcy. It was not the NWM mangers that killed NewAge. The CEO and the Board of Directors killed the company.

“A top-level distributor from Morinda asked his best friend and neighbor (Darren Zobrist) if he would buy the two NWM companies. Darren saw great potential and bought the companies. He is the CEO and the owner (with a few family/friend investors), which means he dictates the terms of the business.”

This isn’t private equity or public equity financing – both can get a NWM company in a deep mess. Why? Because the person loaning the money requires all the assets of the company as collateral. When the company is growing it goes smoothly, when there are dips (and all companies have dips) that’s when they must go back and ask for more money (normally at higher interest rates). Now they’re paying interest on two loans.

Darren’s background is the Wharton School of Business Finance, then Goldman Sacks managing client investments. When Goldman went public, he determined he would not be able to serve his clients the way he had before. He then went into building businesses. From the ground up he built Anova (purveyors of sushi grade tuna) and eventually sold to Bumble Bee Foods. With that sale, he was set for life. Then his friend asked him to buy the two companies.

With Darren as CEO, we immediately started growing… at the tune of 3,950% Brand Partner growth in the first two years. Darren fell in love with the industry because of the people.

He saw that in NWM, we can completely change the direction of someone’s life for the better. He now views Partner.Co  as his legacy.

Darren hires the very best people (in the world) for marketing, technology, operations, country mangers, etc. He is principle-based and ensures the company follows those principles as well as and SOPs.

Partner.Co is a debt-free $300+ million privately owned company shipping products to around 60 countries including China. The compensation plan pays out 51% on the sales dollar every week.

This company is a unicorn, there’s nothing like it in the world.

On the field side, leadership is in alignment, we have precise proven systems where average people who’ve never been in NWM succeed quickly and uniformly- the proof of that is 454,820 total Title advancements in 2024.

This is the full disclosure. – Tim Sales

  1. Dang Ted Nuyten – if I had known you were going to take my ‘raw’ reply and turn it into a blog post, I would have spent a bit more time cleaning it up! I was simply trying to put a little bit of order into the chaos. Details really matter.
Regardless of my rawness, thank you for your service to the NWM industry. It’s worth promoting!

  2. The ‘not polished’ nature of this makes it even more interesting and impressive. If anyone would know what a NWM ‘unicorn’ is or needs to be, it’s you, Tim. Thanks for your unvarnished take on this company!
